Following the recent drama that occurred on social media between two Nigerian music artistes, Davido and Burna Boy, which caused some stir amongst music lovers, Davido has finally come online to settle the issue.
The singer, making his first comment since, took to his Twitter handle to drop a subtle reply. He tweeted, "love to my fellow  ON G”.
How Did The Beef Start? It all began when Davido dropped a photo of him and Wizkid with a caption that said they were the two greatest of all times. Many Nigerians felt he was taking a swipe at Burna Boy who always referred to himself as the greatest. Burna Boy, who apparently felt the same way, took to his social media to drop a jab against Davido. Although it wasn't direct, but some interpreters took it to mean that he was saying that Davido had no music talent, that he was a disgrace to the music industry but got all his fame from his dad's affluence.
Is There Really A Beef? Well, we do not know for certainty if there is bad blood between the two artistes. For all there is, it is but indirect remarks and comments. But trust Nigerians to always make a fuss and exaggerate about everything. Even some celebrities have taken sides already with the two artistes. For instance, Cubana Chief Priest who publicly said that if a person's dad was so rich he wouldn't be so hardworking. Indirectly referring to Davido and an attack on Burna Boy's comment.
What Do I Think? Davido and Burna Boy have been pals for a very long time now. So I doubt if this could mean a rift in their relationship. As I said earlier, we do not know for certainty, all there is at now is just speculation upon speculation
