There were indications that the Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, has died of COVID-19 on Thursday.
Members of staff at his Crown Hospital at Oja Oshodi, Akure, the state capital, were seen crying and the neighbours to were lamenting the sudden death of the commissioner.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu only disclosed his own COVID-19 status via his Twitter handle on Tuesday but was silent on other members of his cabinet who were on admission at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH)
